These exciting Cross Reference Monitor Series from GROVER NOTTING have been created from a foundation of industry experience, intuition, objective listening tests and, most important of all, industry feedback. GROVER NOTTING lets you take the guesswork out of your mixes. GROVER NOTTING translation monitors will provide you with a high-quality reference point you're currently missing. The GROVER NOTTING CR-1 and CR-2 monitors both employ a single driver, passive, infinite baffle design. Nothing pretentious, just quality components, solidly built in Australia for the studios of the world. Both the CR-1 and CR-2 can be used as a mono or stereo source. Whether in mono or stereo mode they should be ideally situated on a solid surface.
Whilst the range is currently limited to the Cross Reference products CR-1 and CR-2 along with their accessories, the release of both Near and Mid Field products is imminent. These exciting and unique monitors show considerable promise with initial frequency response well beyond the industry standard currently available.
Note: the manufacturer suggests powering the CR-2 with an amplifier capable of delivering between 50-200 watts of clean power per channel (less if driven by a valve amplifier). It is of utmost importance you never run your power amplifier into clip whilst driving these audio monitors. If you do, they may not perform as designed and you might destroy the transducer. Also, the power amplifier will perform much better if allowed a reasonable degree of headroom. Warranty is 12 months from the date of purchase.
