We humans are a funny lot, for many centuries now, as our hearing has got progressively worse, we’ve increasingly sought to better hear what’s around us. In long gone days, a ram’s horn was not only useful to trumpet the attention of others, but as an aid to hear them too!
It wasn’t long before the “aurally challenged” realised that sheep (and goats) were smart and probably nervous too and actually catching one and removing the horns was a task for a much younger and sillier person.
Then someone (what was that bright sparks name?), invented electricity and suddenly the birth of powered hearing assisting devices was imminent.
Eventually, it fell to a German chap by the name of Sennheiser (odd name that, almost as much as Boughen), to come up with even more seriously helpful products (that is with the design and development input of his many employees). So, if your hearing is down a bit on what it used to be we’re offering help to hear the things you love … your favourite music, television programmes and, maybe, the better half asking for a cup of tea.
